Why this night exists

Some lines are drawn before a child can read them.

There is a line drawn for these children before they are old enough to read it. Elevated exposure to trauma, instability, and — the part nobody puts on a brochure — a materially higher likelihood of following their parent into the system.

“180” means a complete reversal of direction. That was never a tagline. It is the literal, measurable outcome of the program — and it has a price.

2.6 million American children have a parent in jail or prison right now. Nobody is fundraising for them. That changes October 9th.

What your gift actually buys

$500 buys a different ending.

Camp 180 is an Angel Tree & Prison Fellowship camp in the Arizona White Mountains — a full week where a child gets to run, climb, and be a kid, with programming designed by an occupational therapy practitioner.

What to expect

An evening built around one moment.

Dinner, yes. Entertainment, yes. A silent auction. But the reason to come is a stretch in the middle of the night where the room stops talking.

You'll find a coin at your place setting with a child's first name on it. You'll notice one chair at your table is empty, and a card explaining why. And somewhere between the entrée and dessert, you'll watch a line bend.

We won't spoil the rest.

Questions

Is my ticket tax-deductible?
180 PSM is a registered 501(c)(3), EIN 86-1772422. The portion of your ticket above the fair market value of dinner is tax-deductible, and your receipt will state the deductible amount. Sponsorships are deductible less the value of goods received.
What should I wear?
Black tie optional. For men: a dark suit and tie is perfect; a tux is welcome; so is a bolo — this is Arizona. For women: a floor-length gown or elegant cocktail dress. The room is navy, gold and candlelight, so emerald, burgundy and champagne photograph beautifully.
Can I buy a table if I can't fill it?
Yes. Buy the table and we'll seat other guests with you, or we'll seat volunteers and camp staff who would love to meet you.
I want to help but I can't attend.
Choose Send a Kid Instead at checkout. Same $180, and a child goes to camp in your place.
Is there a silent auction?
Yes — running alongside dinner, with curated packages and experiences donated by local businesses and friends of the ministry. If you'd like to donate an item, let us know — items are finalised by October 1st.
Is this a religious event?
Yes — 180 PSM is openly Christian, and Camp 180 is an Angel Tree and Prison Fellowship camp. We serve every child who comes to us regardless of their family's faith, and guests of every background are welcome at this table.
Where does the money go?
Directly to AZ Camp 180 — scholarships, transportation, meals, gear and year-round follow-up. Most event costs are underwritten in-kind by local businesses so that your gift reaches the program, not the ballroom.
Can I bring my kids?
This is an adult evening. We would love to see your family at a camp volunteer day instead — email us.
Can I volunteer at camp?
Yes, and we need you. Counsellors are the single biggest constraint on how many kids we can serve. Get in touch.
